Acupuncture
Contemporary Medical Acupuncture is a precise peripheral nerve stimulation technique, in which fine solid needles are inserted into anatomically defined neurofunctional sites. These points can be stimulated manually or with electricity for the therapeutic purpose of modulating abnormal activity of the nervous system. It can be added into your appointment as an addition to massage therapy treatment. Acupuncture can be used in the treatment of: sports related injuries and other movement disorders, musculoskeletal pain problems, chronic pain, and stress related problems.
Acupuncture performed at The White Birch is billed under “Massage Therapy” for insurance plans.
